Seriously, I’m completely sick of seeing people getting so upset at others for playing a hero that isn’t so great or that they have little experience with, and threatening to report them for throwing in quick play.

I hope players don’t expect anyone to put 100% into a QP match, ever.
Not even in comp really.
Trust me there’s a lot of really stuck up people that expect everyone on their team to be pro today for some reason and it just got annoying.
Also there’s only two negatives in my title and it’s perfectly understandable.

Expecting people to try to win is not a stuck up thing. What is the point in queuing up for a match if you’re not going to try to win?
If you want to mess around and not try then queue up arcade. You’re supposed to be trying to win in QP.

That’s great that you think that but I’m not going to agree with it, QP is the arcade mode of Competitive and shouldn’t be taken as seriously. But feel free to tell me where the 6v6 arcade mode is.

Quick play was the original competitive mode. While it’s not expected that you take it AS seriously, it IS still expected that you play to win.
Why are you even queuing up a team match when you have no intentions of trying to help your teammates win? That’s very rude.
If you don’t plan on trying then go play an arcade mode or against AI. You drag down 5 other players when you don’t play to win. Try the game browser or the other arcade modes available.
I don’t care if we have a 6 dps comp but if you see people afking or going in solo on intent they will get reported it still is a teamgame if you don’t want to play in a team that is fine but go to deathmatch. Or play a different game than i respect people trying out new heroes even if that means you have a wonkey comp that is never gonna work if you make a bit of an effort to play together all is good in my books.

I didn’t say anything about queuing to not win. Try reading it again, I’m talking about players that are trying to practice something they normally don’t play or just want to play for fun and aren’t so great with.

For example; today I had multiple matches with someone playing mercy, they decided to play battle mercy for one game and then got yelled and and threatened to be reported by someone on our team, even though we weren’t doing that badly.
Well as long as the Mercy says they won’t be healing, I don’t mind.

I don’t like seeing solo healing Ana’s, but at the same time the team needs to respect that they have a solo healing Ana especially if that’s the only healer they know how to play properly. Players just need to accept losses and admit that their synergy as a team wasn’t good.

Um… No Limits was the original Quickplay, making Quickplay the original Quickplay. It’s safe to assume it was meant to be used for competitive practice (considering arcade was created almost immediately after the community asked for a practice mode), but it was definitely not the original Competitive lol.
