But please dial the hate down a bit. It’s honestly not that bad.
Seriously. This game is very competitive, so much that it’s part of it’s toxicity reason. League is literally only in it’s first year, of course blizz will show favoritism towards it so it can develop. We’re getting a new lore event in a week. Off-Meta heroes are being tuned. Dive is being nerfed. Flanker counters are being introduced and buffed.
No one has a sense of time anymore. Things take time. Hell, TF2 gets one update a year and people were fine with it. Be grateful we have open devs who communicate with us on a regular basis and listen to our feedback. We’ve got one of the best dev teams out there. Dial back the hate.
It’s not as bad as you think. People who uninstall over this, in a period where most things are developing, weren’t here for the game to begin with. Every game goes through this. Give it time. Eventually, things will fall into place. I trust that the devs know what they are doing.

I will never jump ship and leave this game,

Same here. I fell in love with the game because of the game. I played lots of TF2, and I really like how active the devs are and how frequently we get updates. It’s got that feeling of TF2, but it feels fresher, updated, and just as fun.
No matter what, I will stay until this game stops being updated.
Because I love the game itself.
Not a certain hero.
Not a certain meta.
Not a certain mode.
Not a certain community.
Not a certain playstyle.
Not a certain ability.
I just love the game. And I will continue to love the game.

TF2 is for the most part balanced tho ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Lol your posts I’ve seen today are “this game isn’t balanced”. Obviously you play a certain number of heroes that are possibly countered easily in a game so you don’t switch or maybe you aren’t that good (don’t worry I’m not good either) but the “balance issues” are not that bad.
Not at a competitive level. Just like overwatch, mobility is rewarded too much.
But that doesn’t matter. Both are fun games. I like both. But overwatch is fresher, faster, more updated, and cared for.
It’s a fun game that I will stay with.
Nobody who voices concerns hates the game. We express concerns because we love this game, and don’t want to see Blizz throw it all away for their stupid OWL.

I’m pretty sure a lot of things people complain about aren’t as bad as they think…
As for me, I not going anywhere any time soon
All of TF2’s heros feel balanced none feel way to OP or UP but i would say neither are COMP ready esecially ESPORTS ready which BLizzard want’s to push. It’s only frequent updates seem to be the cash grab events, but new heros and maps only come out 2 to 3 times a year

Still, some people like OWL. Some don’t. People who threaten to quit over it are honestly kinda disrespectful to the competitive community. Let them enjoy OWL, let us enjoy the community, let everyone be happy. I’m honestly happy they are finally supporting the eSports scene. And once OWL’s hype starts to die down, we’ll see more of a balance between competitive and casual community support.
Give it time. Eventually, blizzard will find their happy medium. Until then, keep suggesting things. Keep making posts. Keep pointing out flaws. Keep showing balance discrepancies. But don’t quit over it.
OWL has no hype ppl only watch it for them free tokens.

Nope it’s bad.
I’m done with the mistreatment that the devs have towards the community. I’m tired of waiting for balance patches that actually make sense. I’m tired of playing this gave for the extensive lore/story when we haven’t got any in 2018 yet.
I’m sick of playing a game of repeat when said game has problems in of itself.
I’m sick of Dive that’s been in the meta for a year.
I’m sick of the power creep.
I won’t come back until Uprising, where I’ll just grind out any new Pharah cosmetics, then leave because the base game is so broken and old that I have more fun raging at IOS games than I do OW.
Until I start being shown that progress is actually being made, and not talked about, THATS when I’ll come back. Not while things are “soon” to come. Not while lore for 28 or so heros simply never comes. Not while they continue to buff and break heros like Sombra, since they did the same to Bastion over a year ago. They don’t care. They care a little, but that’s only because they need paychecks. The could die outright and they could live off the billions that this IP made. I’m done giving my money to the big man when in the end I’m just told to screw off.

I personally enjoy watching it from time to time.

I understand your anger, but honestly it’s flawed.
If the devs really didn’t care, would they be as open as they were? Would they keep micro-transactions to a bare minimum instead of saying screw it and cashing out? Would the game still be updated monthly? Would the devs keep posting on the forums? Would the devs even put effort into the game?
A developer who doesn’t care would do none of those things.
Trust me. It could be way worse. But this game is still new, and the devs are still finding their groove. The best we can do is give them time, and if after then we still get nothing, then we can say they don’t care.
We still on to jump ship next week?
I enjoy it. 150k people average watched it before tokens. Just because you don’t enjoy something doesn’t mean others don’t either.
It’s coming up to its second anniversary and you’re pulling the “it’s still new” card?

The negativity they are getting is justified basically cause of how long they take to release content for it to be underwhelming.
If their new maps and heroes we’re homeruns consistently then consumers would have more faith.
If ya gonna go that slow then have a hit. Otherwise pick up the pace especially with more esports on the way to compete against your product.

Compared to games like league, cs, tf2, dota, lots of other franchises and games we’ve all come to love, yes. It’s still new. It will be new for a year or so. This IP has been around for 2 years. Compared to other IPs this one is still fresh.
