Kiriko is 17 years older than she is currently, so she’s 38 now, and maybe her Kitsune shrine are also religious/spiritual in the same way as Zenyatta, but they only commune with ChatGPT in place of their fox gods. Kiriko also summons a spirit fox made out of nanobots whenever she needs to aura-farm.

Unfortunately Kiriko’s existence shuts down the idea of a perfectly sci-fi universe.

So long as magic is limited to the Shimadas and a few Omnics like Zen, I’m fine with it. It’s not something that should be handed out willynilly.
