I think dot cross hair is the best

I don’t like big distracting crosshairs. I think it’s better to focus on the target and use your crosshair as a guide. Making it a tiny dot helps with that. What crosshair do you use? And what color? I use purple because I feel it stands out with most colors on maps.

I use a small dot with thin, mostly transparent lines so I don’t lose it in all the vibrant colours of the game. The colour I chose is a pink/purple one.

Only with Rein do I have the biggest cross hair possible. Makes firestrikes easier for me personally

I use crosshair, no dot. Green. It helps me level my shots better.

I did try the dot at one point, but I kept losing it in the particle effect vomit that is overwatch.

For sniper hero, I should be using the dot. It’s hard to see the enemies in long-range as a sniper with the regular crosshair. And there’s no setting to make the crosshair thinner.

So dot is technically the best for snipers, if you want to land pixel perfect headshots in long-range. But I still use the regular crosshair simply because I’ve gotten so used to it.

I’ve always preferred the dot in any shooter, my logic is that if I can place that tiny dot on someone then I know for sure my shot can land. Harder to keep track of though, bright colors with and contrasting outline is ideal.

I change my crosshair between dot, circle, and small + every once in a while for fun.

Always green though.

One thing I failed to mention is that I use the default crosshair for D.Va specficially. Her spread is massive so the large circle shows you better how to approximate aim.

I use a small, teal crosshair with thick lines and an open center with no dot. I experimented with a dot but preferred this. Dot is still nice though.

I agree. I use a barely visible green dot. I’m better off with a crosshair I lose in a hectic fight than one I can’t stop looking at.

I’m sure at some point they’ll let us turn off visual hit markers. Then I’ll really be in business. Any day now…

Cross hair, long sides, no center, neon blue.

I agree, a small thin dot is all that is needed that way it teaches the player to learn and aim with the gun and the enemy’s movement as opposed to looking at the crosshair.

Once I changed my cross-hair to the small dot, my aim has improved A LOT simply because I am looking and aiming at the enemy movement as opposed to just focusing on the crosshair.

Don’t parrot awkward tate

I use a circle crosshair with cross on Reaper. Mskes aiming center of mass very intuitive, especially since Tracer and Ana need to be shot in the legs at range.

Wait, you can just go into settings and add shafow to the white dot. I do that on Cassidy.

I started to use dot, when i had turned off my crosshair in some other fps game by accident and was not sure how to turn it back.

i want my outline a lot thicker
