I think Blizzard knew full well that the name Cassidy Cole is the name of an adult film actor.
Just look at the allocations against them in court.
This company is just down right messed up.

Omg, you’re right! lol. I’m genuinely not sure either. Like, there’s actual doubt in my mind. We’re actually at a point where them doing this on purpose seems somewhat plausible. 
I’ll ignore how little sense that makes to ask, how is a woman consensually making adult content related to a sexual harassment lawsuit (That, by what evidence we have, isn’t related to the Overwatch team)?

I love when people use words that kinda sound like the word they wanna use but it’s not it, they just think using a multi-syllabic word makes it sound more credible.

Contrarians everywhere, people should realize that even if these people with the same name do/say horrible things Blizzard is not going to change the name again.
Because unlike Jesse McCree, none of these adult movie actors work at Blizzard or are associated with Blizzard in any way.

I doubt they did it intentionally. But I have to laugh at them changing the name because of an employee that was involved in sexual harassment allegations, only to then inadvertently name him after a woman who takes her clothes off to earn money.
I just think it is funny, since I would think they would specifically check for any type of connection like that.

I have no issue with the name or them changing it. Just a name for a video game character, so who cares.
But geez was this a research fail job. I am curious what names didn’t making the cut if this one did? Was Billy “The Kid” Diggler one of the options?
