the virus nerf only solved half the problem for me
it still feels unfair how she gets behind everyone for free and gets out of duels for free and it makes it worse shes present in90% of my games.
The virus nerf is pretty substantial. To be honest I don’t think you’ll be seeing many Sombra’s in your games going forward. As soon as people realize how bad she is now, people are going to stop playing her. Just give it a couple of days.

she was always bad, she was is never a proper viable hero outside niche uses like hacking ball doom, or be a support hero in a dive.
She is not a proper viable hero in comp once people have awareness and reaction and sometimes peeling.
what she is unfun fall back hero that people pick to hide and waste time, and get free influence of making a game unfun.
just she being there means i have to start playing bodyguard cant make free form plays.
She needs rework, i doubt she is going down anytime soon.

Yes, but even worse now. I can’t imagine too many people having a positive win rate with her in this state. And maybe that’s ok until she gets another rework of some sort because like you point out she really wasn’t even good before the nerf.

Yea, I can survive her ambush just fine most the times, but you can never finish her off for failing. Translocator has such a low cooldown she can just use it back to back almost, even if you ding her when shes running after using the first one.
I promise you: the amount of Sombra’s I’ve seen has decreased significantly. What was seeing her for 85% of my games has now dropped to maybe 20%. It’s not longer an instant swap if the enemy loses one team fight.
Just suck it up, sigh, and when she gets picked - tell the rest of the team to shoot at shadows. Annoying, but hey, unless she gets removed she’s here to stay.
I still saw her way too much tonight… Nothing changed really… Some start as Widow but as soon as they can’t win they come back as Sombra as usual

Sombra was not bad before. She just was bad if the enemy team was paying attention to her for peeling. She was fantastic if there weren’t peels, which was 80% of matches. I main support so trust me, even in masters dps are too lazy to peel her.
Now forget it. Not only is it that much easier for me to healpeel her victim, it’s easier for me to escape if I am the victim. And that’s outside of team fights. In a team fight she’s complete joke because someone’s going to swat her.
