I really want a cyberpunk map in the future

its my aesthetic and just generally looks amazing
cyberpunk 2077 and overwatch take place in the same year anyways.

Depends on your view of cyberpunk but I feel like some maps sort of already fit that aesthetic somewhat: Dorado, Lijang Tower, Downtown Busan. Though I wouldn’t call cyberpunk a look but rather a world focus on the political and social aspects. Like you don’t need any of the aesthetics of cyberpunk but you can still feel like cyberpunk.

So i’d say we have some cyberpunkish maps.

Liked all the images except for the last one. It burned my eyes for some reason.

Cyberpunk would be pretty dope, but you have to make a map that you can see pretty easily. I think if they made a Miami map, they should have it vice themed rather than tropical to differentiate it from Havana (ooh na-na)

I really can’t tbh. I think I’d need some aesthetic of cyberpunk to say I can feel that it’s there

Then it would just be Busan city.

Shadowrun is best Cyberpunk incidentally.

please yes we need this immediately

Cyberpunk is cool but the future where OW set isn’t cyberpunk

There are a number of pretty strong elements that certainly influence it. Corporate domination and corruption, collapse of legal order (the collapse of OW itself being a part of that) driven by shady conspiracies and alliances between corps, Talon, and nation states and indeed the Omnium. The Omnic Wars themselves serve as an apocalyptic event that triggered and drove much of it, as well as serving as the warning of an over-dependence on technology.

And the pyramid on the Dorado map is clearly an Aztechnology facility.

Yeah, I support that. We need a place where technology is corrupted, but did not destroyed anything yet (Junkertown).
