Yeah, I am sure I will get a lot of flak for this but to be honest, I am tired of every new character being female. This is coming from someone that loves Moira/Ana/Sombra lore wise almost more than any other characters in the game. Doomfist/Winston would be my others.

nothing wrong its just out of the 5 released, 4 of them were female and it would be refreshing to have another male hero
I don’t think it matters either way, as long as the hero is interesting and fun to play.
I think omnics are way more interesting than humans though so I’d prefer to see more of them - male, female, or otherwise.
I just want a deliciously evil omnic.
why does gender matter, if the character is fun/cool it isn’t relevant (it’s never relevant but whatever)
we’re not getting Brigette and what ur saying whilst is technically sexist however a good point. I’m betting on an omnic tank/ talon tank.
BTW, i’ve been thinking, Blizzard doesn’t seem to put characters with ties in the same category (hanzo and genji for example) meaning that the either defence or tank hero we’ll most likely be getting is probably not Brigette sice torb is defence and i doubt she’s compatible for tanking

I don’t care if the new hero is female, male, nonbinary, an omnic or something else. But you said you are tired of every hero being female. And not you’re tired that every new hero is human (well, Orisa isn’t). Sounds like you have a problem with the new female heroes and not the male one.
You would have saved yourself from a lot of controversy if you said “i don’t want another human as the new hero” since you claim you want an omnic rather than anything else. Just saying xD
Not all heroes are part of Overwatch; plenty are with Talon or just unaffiliated.
Most Omnics seem to identify as male or female and I don’t really see another Bastion happening, would make him much less unique and his voice lines must already be tough enough to keep pumping out.
While I’d very much like another new male hero (especially a pretty boy cause I’m shallow), I believe male still technically outnumber females on the roster so eh. Besides, other than Hammond or Jetpack Cat (who could be anything, even Omnic technically), I’m most hyped Junker Queen, Brigitte, and Liao in terms of lore characters.
Mostly I just want heroes to release faster. I do wish they’d try a double release eventually.
