I can’t look around at all easily with my switch lite.
I have no controller btw
But for some reason I can never look around at all
I did put this in tech support but
Maybe one of you can help me out ?
As in, your joystick isn’t very responsive when you move it?
Yes very much so. like moving anywhere but side to side is not working
And it’s only a problem when you are playing Overwatch, but it works fine on other games and on the Home screen?
Yea. It works perfectly fine otherwise. A little drag here and there in other games but that’s fixable . But not in overwatch
Huh. Because I was suspecting it might be faulty Joy-Cons (because as a fellow Switch owner, I know that whole story…)
If it is behaving oddly specifically only in Overwatch, I’m not aware of what could be causing it…
Mine just drags a little. I only have the basic analogs no controllers. They drag sometimes but alot of controllers do it and it’s not hard to deal with but this is ridiculously hard to deal with.
I can’t have any in-game Awareness without being able to look all angles.
Thought it was a sensitivity issue…it wasn’t
Try resetting your controller keybindings (Options > Controls, look for the instructions on that screen on how to reset).
It sounds like there may be some drift on your switch. If there’s drag, it will hinder your movement in one direction but not another. Drift is caused by the material that keeps the joystick in place grinding against it, causing the dust to interrupt the sensors.
This is a common problem with switches and Nintendo offers free servicing of its units.
Hey Wyoming! These forums must have been a nightmare for you with the ban wave. Hope you’re doing okay, and happy Valentine’s Day.
Do you mean restore defaults?
Yes.
Thanks so much! fixed! I didn’t realize I had to move the lite for it to aim up and down. Im dumb- sorry
Thanks everyone
Do you have gyro controls enabled, and furthermore, do you want them enabled? There’s a way to turn them off.
How- please tell me how . They are kinda annoying
- Go into Options
- Go under the “Gyro” tab
- Change the “Gyro Aiming On/Off” setting to “Off”
I’m not sure if it’s different for the Switch Lite, but that’s how I do it on my switch.
Maybe the problem is your sensitivity? I once had a problem where I could not move the camera around while aiming with a scope and I realized that my scope sensitivity was at 0
I can’t look up and down with gyro controls off
That’s… strange. Sorry dude
Should I maybe try to post a video to show it? Like maybe I’m just stupid.
