Matching is so bad, there’s really no choice for someone in my position but to just play the game without communication and apologize ahead of time and let them know I really do try.

For some reason, the matching devs just won’t allow people like me, Silver, to play against other Silver players… or ever other Silver/Gold players. Instead, I’m forced to get matched against and with people who just obliterate me, or despise me for being on their team. The OW devs have created the most toxic game environment possible, particularly for lower ranked players like myself… It’s truly irresponsible.

It’s probably best to not put anything in chat and just keep it off. Putting things in chat leave you vulnerable to false reports which lead to silences and bans that you would have to appeal.

Ahh, that’s ok… I at least want my team to know I’m not in chat in case they try to talk to me… Plus, my account is so worthless anyway. Getting silenced wouldn’t matter anyway, but if I get banned, I get banned.

You’re gonna get banned for this eventually, FYI. Once enough false troll reports stack up you’re done for.

Well, maybe I’ll just keep chat off and not tell them… I feel bad doing that tho in case they speak to me… but oh well… no choice i guess

No reason to have chat on, 90% of the time someone wants to say something to you in this game it’s some toxic scum.
