I officially retire from Overwatch, for good this time

This is the final straw. An extremely dangerous precedent has just been set regarding successful reworks. I will not be a part of a game that bullies my favourite hero for absolutely no reason, so i won’t. Giving up the game i was most passionate about was not what i wanted but i must stick to my principles. If i can’t trust you, you can’t have my money or play time. Im truly disappointed in these poor, hurtful decisions. How you can spend almost a year fixing a heroes problems, see that you did indeed fix his problems only to rip them away two years later? I guess Torbjorn is next eh? Can’t have him throwing turrets, can we? Make him, a non meta threat too viable. Apparently, a game where every hero is viable is not what you see. Only the heroes who sell skins are allowed. You can keep your skins. Im done. No more abuse.

I’m sorry to hear that, but is it a big deal that Roadhog loses his PP? He’s still keeping his resource-based Breather.

Go ahead, i’ll be back to enjoying hog like i used to in ow1

I am sure everyone will miss the legendary RoadhogTime.

Roadhog is becoming a Han Dynasty court official? I’d say that’s a pretty big deal. Those guys wield a lot more power than you think.

while i dont really have an opinion with roadhog i am wondering if overwatch will become more and more like world of warcraft with faster reworks, game changes (like season 9) and flip flops. stadium is almost like world of warcraft heh (where you have to study builds)

im an old guy… just keep everything simple

still i mean, most of them are old WoW devs so i shouldnt be surprised

They still run screaming from an angry granny with a bottle of something nasty, so while Hog losing his PP might seem pretty drastic, I don’t think much changes in the greater scheme of things. PP, no PP, Destiny still arrives all the same, and it comes in convenient bionade form.

Roadhog is unfairly victimized due to mostly skill issues by the people playing against him CMV

it may backfire sometime. its not as bad as WoW was yet

Yup. You got your OW1 back, where everything is awkward and clumsy, except for all the new heroes who retain the new smoother design philosophy. Enjoy your slow, clumsy Roadhog who can’t one shot anything and has no purpose on the map. Clearly this is more fun than everyone being viable. Soon Sym will have 6 turrets again and a lockon gun, Mercy will regain mass rez, Torbjorn will have to place and build his turret again and Bastion will have his tank tracks taken away from him outside of his ultimate. What’s the point of moving forward when we can just move backwards and stay stagnant in this ever changing world?

That they revert bad reworks? So dangerous…

Hog still keeps his resource breather I’m pretty sure so that’s a W in my books. His primary and secondary fire no longer being combined will feel good too.

Play it before you dump the game entirely

Hog will go back to either being a menace or useless. Not surprised.

As long as I keep getting my free ult charge as Reaper from Hog OTP’s I couldn’t care less lol. I’ve been having an absolute field day lately

They’re literally keeping the successful parts of that rework

Sssshhh…don’t spoil the overreaction

Sym has been untouched since 2018 barring balance changes. Anyone who think’s Roadhog’s rework was bad is delusional, simple as.

No.

The notes came out. It’s the latter and it’s going to be that way for good im afraid.

If you think breather on a resource was the ONLY change Roadhog needed for viability, oh boy you just don’t play the hero.

It’s a good change. 95% of Hogs used the trap incorrectly anyway by just throwing it out immediately before a hook every time and trying to drag people into it. It always makes me laugh how they’re effectively announcing that they’re about to hook, so you get extra time to avoid it.

There’s not many high-skill ways to use the trap. I’d rather Hog was more flexible mid-fight, and alt fire does that.
