Before her current version, I mean. I bought her Bride of Junkenstein skin 2 years ago, played a match. Haven’t touched her since.
Now, the way she is, I’m almost morally opposed to playing her, silly as that sounds.
Or I just like playing widow better. Yeah, it’s probably that.
I enjoyed every variation of Sombra until her virus rework. I do not refuse to play her for moral reasons, she is simply less fun… Unless you actively decide to troll. That’s her charm. You can derank WHILE harassing an individual player. I cannot believe this design is even allowed in a PvP game. Might as well take advantage of the two way grief potential before they finally come to their senses. It’s not my fault they wanted this for a hero…
I get this with meta tanks a bit because it feels kinda scummy but with Sombra I’ve already accepted people will be annoyed when I play her so I don’t really care. I dabbled in ow1 Sombra and picked her up with the disgusting ow2 release version
People complain about her now, that Sombra was almost as bad before she got nerfed lol
Honestly though she’s not really as much fun anymore. Her gameplay is kinda just you engage perma go for a kill get out try again. It’s almost too cyclical and without a lot of variation
you are no better than a sombra player 
She’s fun to play, like actually, though I think that’s just because of how slippery and hard to punish she is and how easy it is for her to single someone out and kill them without much contest.
But I rarely ever play her because I feel evil any time I pick her. I feel like I toggled God Mode on in cheats in a video game or edited my stats to be ridiculous. I don’t feel fulfilled when I win a fight or a match using Sombra.
I feel… dirty. Like I cheated.
It’s the same reason I have barely touched Orisa since her remake.
At least I’m not invisible.
