I need tips to for certain counters

I’m not new to overwatch, I know most of the basics.

I am playing quickplay and my rank is low yet I feel like I am better than most players I am facing, since I have some old experience from playing like 2 years ago and a bit on console, while also being a gamer for ages now. My problem is that I am not good with every character yet, mostly, so I cannot always pick what’s best for team. I also hate certain characters, mostly the over-simplistic ones. Talking about over-simplistic characters,

  1. Hanzo. I feel as if any dps I take is outshined by him. I have a hard time doing anything against him. Is there any true hard counter that could punish someone for going Hanzo, that could realistically without having to 2v1 punish him? Please do not recommend things like tracer; it’s much harder for tracer to reach and kill Hanzo, it’s not a counter, more like a flip-a-coin if you do reach him.

  2. Teams with a lot of healing and tanks. I feel like it’s almost impossible to outdps them and they do enough damage even though they are tanks and supports that it’s not stoppable.

Roadhog isn’t a bad choice against hanzo but you need to manage your breather CD so you can use it after he uses storm arrow. 1 shoting him is quite easy and will be much easier after the buffs

The job of these comps is to be difficult to kill and zarya can provide more than enough damage in a sustained fight. Use Hanzo/junkrat for tank busting but moniter zarya’s CDs so you don’t feed charge. Pharah is a hard counter especially will Mercy, Brig can help contest these comps at close range but you need back up to do much other than be annoying.

Hanzo and Widow are both good against Hanzo, and Pharah if it’s not an especially good Hanzo. As for tanks, the dive tanks do well against him as well.

For the healthy comps, Hanzo, Bastion, and Roadhog I feel are all good choices if your team works with you.
