My last one was getting gripped into a dragon with the excuse being he thought the fight was over (it was 3v3 and we had the tank). Had another earlier in the season being gripping shatter which was fun. Also had a grip into an incoming flux which was also fantastic and then being gripped off high ground when I was safe into a bad spot multiple times was great. All that just this season despite LW being rarely seen.

Honestly I struggle to think of a single game that had LW this season without one awful grip that made me question if they bought their rank

Don’t forget the one where:

The LW doesn’t know that Nemesis form resets health when you ult so like Winton you get low, pop ult and refresh.

I legit had a LW grip me as I hit Q and never has the benny hill music played so loudly in my head as I rush back to get max value out of ult haha.

Not the LW’s fault but still funny

TBF, it’s easier to coordinate with a Lifeweaver if they know what you’re doing. They can’t read your mind, but we often see things other people don’t given where we’re usually positioned.

it sucks watching your team just get ripped apart, and just being left to run away to another fight

Don’t you love it when you tell your LW you have ult and they life grip you when you’re about to use it.

I wouldn’t even bother telling my Lifeweaver I have ultimate. It’s none of their business.

It used to be way worse when LW was new, I can’t believe how many times I’d get pulled away from my 4 player shatters and be like “NOOOO BEING ON CRITICAL WAS THE BAIT SO I COULD KILL THEM”

To their credit 90% of LWs were immediately like “I’m sorry, just crumple me up and throw me away tbh” but then 10% would be all “well I see critical, I pull deal with it and stop taking damage”

Luckily they’ve all been purged it seems, the 15 remaining LW players are are pretty good and allow me to get super aggro and respond to my emotes. They’ve redeemed Lifeweaver players as a concept for me
