I have been playing Overwatch mostly fine since February of this year with my girlfriend and all of a sudden it has become impossible to get any matches with her as a group. We spend literal hours in queue’s waiting for Quick Play Classic, Mystery heroes, even Competitive. But if we separate I get matches almost instantly. She lives in Australia and I live in England, is the distance the issue? I would appreciate if anyone has any advice on the problem.
SR, hidden QP MMR, and location are all factors.

When I play with low ranked friends they notice the ques get significantly longer than they’re used to. SR is definitely a factor
it is yeah, but multiple hours is insane even for bronzes playing with gms
I am 5 Star Bronze and she is 3 Star Bronze if that helps work out anything. We regularly get put in teams and against Silvers, Golds and even Silver Bronze, etc. In Quick Play Classics and Mystery Heroes in the times we do get matches.
Do either of you play Competitive?
Does one of you play Dps?
High ranked Dps players get the longest ques. My partner is T500 Dps and whenever he plays Dps our ques sky rocket to 10+ minutes on average.
We do play Competitive together but the majority of play together is usually in Quick Play Classic and Mystery Heroes, that is where our Que problems lie, we are both Support mains but I also Tank. DPS is rare.
SR/MMR doesn’t matter much in QP
