I thought he was more fun when his auras had a larger range. Back then, I could be wall riding up high while supporting my team and shooting down at the enemy.

I miss skill in wall riding. Reddit lucios are super annoying because the game had to make wall riding a cake walk…

That the value hasn’t changed. His aoe makes it so that before you could be far and give small value, now he can breeze by and give large value. That’s not staying with his team at all. Just gives then whiplash
Lucio was pushing 100% pickrate back then. Even now he’s the second most picked support at high ranks when bunker is dominate of all things.

Wallriding was also way harder then, which made the skill curve more fun. DSP Stanky pushed the boundries of Lucio with what he could with that wallride.

Lucio became so lame now. Can’t feel speedboost anymore. He needs some sad voicelines like

I think we only had two options for off support back then. It was Lucio or zen, so one of them was going to get the 100% pick rate.

Would you really say new Lucio is weaker than old Lucio?
He’s got 25% more damage, 20% faster projectile speed, 50% more temporary shields from ult, has better knockback that is now free and can be used while reloading, has easier wall riding, and has 30% more healing to allies than old Lucio.
He’s lost 5% movement speed on his regular aura, 20% movement speed on amp it up, he’s took a significant radius hit, and he now loses his ult if he dies mid activation.
New Lucio is stronger imho but, depending on what you liked about Lucio he’s less fun.

imo: lucios reworks to the current state are one of those few that were a well done job!! i´d dont mind if his wall-right wasnt that easy again and instead his auras had a slightly larger radius but im fine with it now
