I’m noticing a pattern developing

Prior to role queue, many of your losses were attributed to having too many DPS picks.

Now that every match has been formatted to include two AND ONLY TWO DPS choices, your losses stem from having incompetent DPS players on your team.

It’s all about DPS. Too many, not enough. Inside, outside, upside down DPS. DPS in a boat, WITH A GOAT.

I think u forgot the “/s “ at the end of the post there.

the pattern i’ve noticed is that the DPS mains have moved over to roadhog

Ever since I stopped and actually looked at what i was doing wrong as a tank main, I’ve blamed dps way less than I used to… It’s this toxic and easy thing to blame damage but alot of the time you can actually win a game with bad dps but lose when you have amazing dps and for that, you need to look at the tank/support line.

I dont really care incompetence
Bad players lose sr eventually.

Stop scapegoating dps players. Tanks and supports are just as bad. Dps players are just more in numbers.

I don’t think OP is kidding… I think they are having a mental breakdown.

Prior to role queue, i attributed about 20% of my losses to toxic teammates who switched off tank/support because “we’re losing anyway, i might aswell switch since you guys are throwing,”

25% Bad DPS
25% Bad Tanks
25% Bad Supports
25% Toxic Teammates

Thats my breakdown.

I mean, the game queued me as a diamond level dps (presumably because I’m a diamond level support).

Let’s just say I totally get why people would rage at my performance at that tier.

A good breakdown, here’s mine.

20% Bad DPS
20% Bad Tanks
20% Bad Supports
20% Toxic Teammates
20% Enemy had a high ranked player doing the leg work.

Sometimes you get 100% and that’s the full comp experience.

I’ve done a similiar post that people didn’t understand and misunderstood

i have a suspicion that i really cant prove but im quite convinced of it:

the damage role attracts the most people with a “just wanna shoot stuff without further thought” mindset. those dont go into healer or tank role.
so naturally, we end up with a lot of DPS players who, even if theyre good mechanically, simply dont get or dont care for the whole of the game the way they should.

you barely find these people in tank or healer role because their kits (mostly) dont lend themselves to it. exceptions seems to be roadhog and moira.
