Its a hot take for sure. I love this mode. Its super fun and versatile. Only complaint is that Lucio and JQ feel like throw picks rn.
I legit find this mode very fun and exciting.
I love everything about it. Its what I was hoping for , well for pve.
Yeah it needs some tuning, some heroes need buffs and nerfs, I can even see 6v6.
I get losing streaks suck, but I have been getting fun balanaced games the whole time

I’ve been absolutely loving my matches, to the point that I’m needing to force myself to take a break so I can do adult things like eat food, do dishes ect.
There are definitely things to be tuned and optimized, QoL to be added and maps and heroes waiting to join the roster.
The only real complaint I can genuinly sympathize with is being stuck D.Va into Zarya Mei. I played into that for my second Tank game win, I was D.Va and we went 4-0. Maybe they were overconfident because they had me double countered.
I’m just really glad there’s a “Comp” mode that I can enjoy. I’m definitely continuing to play Stadium.
It’s grown on me a lot but there’s a lot of work to be done, more roster, tuning so the game doesn’t become a two shot mess.
On one hand, I now understand how League of Legends is considered the most toxic, but on the other hand, I have not actually been super toxic about getting trapped with worthless players for half an hour. I guess because ADC Genji is super fun.
I think it’s great too. I win nearly every game, but I’m only in Contenders. It’s even faster than regular OW.
I’m having fun even though i been having performance issues and i wished it had unranked mode. Also i wished the items had full description instead of me hovering my mouse over it.

I haven’t tried it yet, but with a recommendation as strong as that, I don’t know why I wouldn’t. 
Had fun till I went against a mcree that could fan the hammer 14 times, roll, then do it again while mercy pocketed.
Tanking is miserable most of the time, and even though it says DPS is the long que and gets extra points my all que has gone tank 3/4 of the time so there seems to be not enough tanks. Wonder why.
Stadium has potential but the matchmaking is horrible. Almost every game is 4-0 or 4-1 in both directions.
I’m enjoying it a lot, I haven’t really played OW since 2’s launch but this has kept me engaged. However, balance is an issue both in regards to hero “skills” and people constantly leaving or disconnecting so most matches end up being a 5v4. Mei seems like a favorable pick for every map, she completely shuts down tanks in most games I’ve played with her on my team.
The mode is utter trash once you climb. I made it to Elite 3 and just like in normal comp suddenly I get nothing but casuals off rolling, leavers, and bad tank match ups. I faced a Top 500 Zarya while I had a Plat Dva, for example. It went how you’d expect.
Just last round I had a Reaper with 800 damage while everyone else had 4K or more. I’m about done with Stadium, was fun at first. Now it’s just stress I don’t need.
Just saying jq is the best tank in the mode… Just need to build her well
