I love dueling Tracer as Zen

I do. It’s funny to duel the Tracer and so fulfilling when you manage to beat the Tracer and I just don’t understand the problem. Just hit your shots. Not even a joke.

I find it way too easy to off Zenyattas as Tracer.

To each their own I guess.

But still I killed a Tracer 2 times in the last game I played and got her low a 2 more times.

Some people don’t like practicing demanding heroes and will cry on the forum for days on end. And this is partly the reason we got brig,

That’s impressive, being able to outdo your counters is super valuable to a team fight. Nice job :stuck_out_tongue:

When the supports start crying we get a new hero because they can’t hit the Tracer or Genji because they’re bad and now people are calling for nerfs to Genji because he “kills them too easily”. Just get good godammit.

Some of my most entertaining memories of Zen are those of watching a Tracer swoop in towards me, take a (un)lucky discorded headshot and immediately panic Recall.

The difference between you and some others is that you want to better your own play and do well even in situations that may have a slight disadvantage towards you.

Other people just want to be in range and just have to press two buttons to kill one of the most demanding characters in the game.

Thing is too that I don’t even mind losing to a Tracer unless they come out of nowhere and one clip me when I was trying to duel something else. Doesn’t happen often tho and a lot of the time they just come running at me. But yeah I don’t mind losing that fight because I know that they are supposed to win and that I could have won if I had hit my shots.

Tbh, nothing is more satisfying than those plink plink plinks on ANY enemy with Zen, even more when dueling an enemy Tracer.

Fiar, but especially headshot body shotting Tracer just feels too good, knowing you just outplayed your counter who was supposed to win.

It’s kinda hard when she has the upper hand 9 times outta 10. Especially if your main healer never wants to turn around

even in owl only JJonak had a positive kdr against tracer. Not sure what point youre trying to make.

With genji, it is an even greater disadvantage. Zen is not designed to be able to kill a genji with all his cooldown up 1v1

And this is an opinion thread and I can confirm, as Zen, this works. Nearly 100% of the time. And Tracer is SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE UPPER HAND! It’s how the game works! There are counters in this game. Deal with it. Thing is, this whole Tracer and Zen counter thing is soft counter. You CAN DEAL WITH IT! Unlike literally any stun against Genji, who I’m guessing you want to nerf.

It’s because tracer was never an op hero. You literally have to grind her mechanics for hundreds of hours to pull off reliable consistent assassinations. Forums invented her as an op character and got her nerfed to sombra level despite being the most mechanically demanding hero.

Of course!!

Here I thought you were supposed to miss!

Oh man I will win against Tracer every time now!

I literally don’t believe you

A hero being hard doesn’t mean they aren’t OP.

It’s completely irrelevant. If the hero is OP I don’t care how hard it is. They are OP

Headshot + Kick = dead Tracer

That’s literally the point of a counter… and this whole thread was opinion but you want to make it an argument right? Because your stupid bum HAD to make it about how it’s unfair to play against a SOFT COUNTER because you don’t have the skill to win the fight.

I’ve mained both at various points and this is what a skill based matchup should look like. We really need more of these.

Brig was added for the top players tho. Dive wasn’t an issue in bronze, the pros were the ones who needed a Tracer counter (tho i’d argue Brig was better at tank busting).
