I have a DPS Duo partner and we queue often together, we both play heroes that compliment eachother and tend to pull out easy wins often. We ended up waiting 33 minutes for a single match of competitive (honestly its what I expected from being 2 DPS players in a group) but we’re both patient so we didnt really mind. Normally the games that we queue into fast dont go so well for us for some reason but when we wait we tend to get the much better team. We got into a game of Eichenwalde and neither of us died on ATK, I played Sombra and he played Genji, I ended our ATK round (that finished in 3-4 minutes) with a 20 player kill streak and 28 enemies hacked and no deaths, we proceeded to full hold on DEF and it was honestly just super fun. I dont mind waiting a long time since we get to have fun, play what we want and pop off really hard. The long queue in my mind seperates the people who are actually decent at DPS and the people who arent since most people that are no good at DPS will stop queue around the 4 minute point and go cry about it. But the patient ones get rewarded with actually good games, this has been a consistent occurance since the Beta came out for my partner and I and we’re loving the games we’ve been playing recently.
