Kiriko’s voice actor is so pretty!

I have no idea what she looks like, but her voice is perfect for the character. I am very happy with her work. It was one of the best additions to the game.

Funny thing is, I don’t think the voice actress is perfect for Kiriko. She sounds far too American to me. She sounds like an English-language dub. Maybe Genji and Hanzo are too stereotypical?
Still a lovely voice, though. Just wrong character to me.

You know when non-native English speakers learn the language, a lot of them will have an American accent since things were picked up from movies or other heavily American influenced media.
Sally Amaki sounds like this. She has a lovely natural Japanese accent which changes to a very American accent (in my opinion as a non-American) when speaking English. The issue is, she sounds very very very American. I don’t hear much of a home accent at all!
Nothing wrong with that, to be honest, I just find it slightly odd.

I have no opinion on her personally. She sounds American, just like ninety percent of the games and shows I’ve watched. So… meh, it works.

This is often true. I met a woman from Brazil teaching ESL. She was struggling. Had been in the US about 2 maybe 3 years. Heavy accent and not fluent. I met her teenage daughter who started learning English about the same time. Native level proficiency and a completely natural American accent. I wouldn’t know that she wasn’t born here.

I think the is good, not sure she fits Kiriko though or at least what they tried to portray Kiriko as in game.
