Yes, ANOTHER thread about Moiras NOT-lock-on beam.

They will stop as soon as the idiotic mentality of the thread title stops. People keep saying it, so people are going to keep rebuking it.

It needs to stop. There is no “It might as well be”. It isn’t period. It breaks around corners and out of line of sight… So stop saying it.

It’s not a “soft-lock”, it’s not a “might as well be”-lock, it’s not an “anything”-lock. Stop saying it, and we’ll stop making threads about it.

I don’t have a main anymore and it never was Moira at any point. I play strictly Mystery Heroes and I like ALL of the heroes.

Yes, Moiras beam hitbox is huge. It’s hard to miss with it. If you want to argue that that makes her a low skill hero, that’s fine… But you can make that argument without being disingenous about it.

It’s not a lock-on sure, but why not make it more accurate?
If they tighten the hitbox so it feels more like a sombra one than a roadhog one poor genji has no excuse for moira KiLLiNG mE no SKILL Wahhhh and also lead to good moira more respected.

I don’t see why they don’t do this instead they nerf her self heal

Except it’s a lock on. The beam quite literally will lock unto the first enemy target it encounters. Literally. It’s different in essence than Symmetra or Mercy’s beams, but it is still a lock on.

Nope. It has what LOOKS LIKE lock on animation, but functions exactly like Zarya and Syms beams, just with a huge hitbox. Fact.
