Happens at random, can’t see anything recurring circmstance that may lead to it. And it only happens in Stadium. Role doesn’t matter. Most recently i attempted to queue as Mercy. I had the character locked in. Chose a skin and everything. Once i loaded in, though, it changed from Mercy to Ana.
It also happened last week. I queued as Damage. Picked Mei immediately. When i loaded in, i was Ashe.
It seems to be defaulting to the first character alphabetically for the role.
It’s becoming increasingly frustrating because I don’t play these characters and it isn’t fun to be taken off guard so rather than making my team suffer through long matches with my issue, i leave so they can immediately requeue. But this leads to me getting an hour lock out.
