In the midst of all the negativity over balance changes, complaints that devs don’t listen, and all the people loving the details in Paris but hating that it’s an assault map, I just want to thank the team for the upcoming change to custom games.
Overwatch PTR Patch Notes – January 30, 2019:
This has been a much-requested feature for custom games and I wanted to thank the team for implementing it. While gameplay balance is important, the features outside of the matches can make players look forward to the matches themselves that much more. It’s easy to focus on the aspects that one feels aren’t being done right or quickly, but I wanted to show that players can and do appreciate features that are done right. And while I’m certain there will be people complaining that it should have been incorporated more quickly, we can still give credit where credit is due.
