I don’t want to play support or tank just to get priority passes that lower my queue times by 30-40%. Like why do I have to ruin other peoples games by playing role I cannot play that well mentally, because I just wanna play dps, but also not wait 20 minutes in queue.
They literally made this priority pass system to unsatisfy tank and support players.
Play Hog or Play Ball,

Just play Hog/Winston. Makes your life much easier and they’re simple to understand.
Besides, playing tanks makes you understand how they move and in turn, means you can further predict how tanks usually move so you can catch them off guard.
Because im being serious, they literally have made a better system like get 3 priority passes through a dps match u won and get none for losing. An idea I guess.
I recommend you look up the developer update announcing Priority Passes or one of the blog posts about it so you can get a better understanding of why that’s a bad idea.
you can go to quickplay classic in arcade! you can 100% play whatever you want there, though, don’t expect too many tanks or healers.
But it’s not competitive 
What about open que competitive?
If you’re playing stupidly on Tank/healer, odds are you haven’t learned good positioning, team awareness or match awareness. It means that you’re probably just as awful at DPS, but your ego won’t let you see it.
Also why should people heal/tank for you when you’re not prepared to reciprocate? Entitled much?
They kicked out us main tank players because you guys whined about us every time we killed you. So have fun with your queues.
It’s a mess, everyones just trolling with 5 dps 1 tank or something

Ah DPS, the role of the most ego-centric people. Get that instant “good feeling” cause you got a kill and you’re autonomous in a team game.
I honestly don’t blame the players at this point, I blame COD with their “here’s how great you are!” throwing rewards nonstop at players for doing stupid s*** and coming away, by luck, unscathed.
They need this constant validation as they play in the form of pew pew and kills.
Read the title. I don’t care at all about playing support or tank, which lowers my passion to play those roles. Maybe I’m like that as a dps, but better than not wanting to play support or tank and thus play worse on those roles. I one tricked Doom, kind off… I enjoy the game by just playing him competitively, if he doesn’t work then I’ll go Hanzo
