Dunno what that update was for.
Do any of you guys know where I can find this kind of data in the future and also the answer to my question?

Probably just patching quick fixes for event based stuff… wouldn’t be surprised if no patch notes are necessary.

was like 43 mb in size. So it was pretty sizable.
Almost like extra content size.

Keep dreaming. That is not extra content and more like bug fixes (like the missing lore from the hero gallery).

It would love it if they were trolling us and the second half of the event just got patched in.

I suspect the missing character descriptions and the OWL emote were patched. I hope they also patched D.Va from freezing the screen for a second when ejecting from her mech.

No, it isn’t the players fault that Blizzard allowed people to buy the OWL emote. It’s Blizzard’s fault. No one will be banned for it. More likely just a token refund and the emote taken away

well idk, blizzard admitted that People who exploit flaws in the game intentionally get banned.
What matters now is whether or not blizzard says this is an exploit and wants to hold them accountable because they know “the emote wasnt for sale like that”

No one knew it was unintentional though until just a few hours ago, If they clearly stated that purchasing it will result in a punishment right after they noticed it was purchasable then I can see people getting banned
