I have one question..How did McCree lose his arm?

because he lost it after he left overwatch, so…what happen?

Well in the reunion short Ashe (after being tied up) said to Mccree that she is going to rebuild B.O.B and command him to rip off his other arm. So maybe she has something to do with it since she already knew about his first.

but…again it happen…AFTER overwatch, after the deadlock gang

This was debunked by Chu.

We don’t currently know what happened to his arm, only that it indeed happened after he already left Overwatch. He also comments that he finds it difficult to cope with it, which might imply it wasn’t that long ago, but it doesn’t have to be. Either way, it’s somewhere between him leaving Overwatch and the present day, which is a period of roughly around 6 years.

All we know is that blizzard is cruel because they’ve teased us about him losing his arm THREE TIMES in the last year. One interaction with Torb during the anniversary event, One interaction during Junkenstien, and again in Reunion.

Nobody asks this question for Torb :sob:

Its assumed that Mercy saved Genji from physical death, but theres nothing in her lore that says she’s a robotics genius. As much as I can remember, we haven’t been informed who or what can create such advanced robotics for things like prosthetics. I think its assumed that because Omnics are sentient robots that things like arms and legs (organs for Genji) are commonplace considering how many were likely injured in the war.

Omniums create omnics in giant factories, its not farfetched to assume they’re also making replacement body parts for fleshbags humans.

It makes sense. Torb lost his arm in Operation White Dome, during an Overwatch mission, so it’s safe to presume his friends & colleagues already know it.
Maybe the best chance to do that was Uprising, with cadet Tracer meeting Torb for the first time.

We know McCree still had both arms during the Rialto mission from his Blackwatch skin, so he lost it some time after that. How or why is uncertain, maybe he lost it when Overwatch HQ blew up, or on another mission, or in his days wandering after OW was formally disbanded.

McCree left Overwatch before the HQ explosion, so that rules it out unfortunately :frowning:

It also makes sense that Torb never got a realistic prosthetic arm; if omniums are making prosthetics he wouldn’t want any part of that and would opt to make his own “hand”.

Doomfist’s family runs a prosthetics company.

He does have a realistic arm. He just use his “clawed” one when he is working. I can’t remember where I read/heard that (tweet or interview?), but when you watch Brigitte Origin story, he has a normal prostetic hand.

“Well, that’s a story for another time”

I guess we will find out one day? Echo seemed to be curious too.

Ashe (Bob) ripped it off.

He lost it in a gambling game.

I think Chu confirmed that wasn’t legit.
