I have no choice but to stop playing Overwatch

After having both of my accounts false reported and unfairly banned, I can no longer play the game. I am permanently banned for cheating, which I never did on either account, and Blizzard refuses to give explanation to what was detected or what occured.
I have iCue for my corsair components (and is also my mouse software), spotify, ROG gameplus and Rivatuner running in the background. NONE OF THESE should have tripped DM, and if they did, then that is an entirely different problem in of itself.

As somebody who has sunk thousands of hours and a lot of money into the game, and is a pretty skilled player id say (I hit m2 this season before I got permanently actioned against, and am the 9th best cassidy in OW2 according to Overbuff: Mangos#11685).

My first account was actioned against months ago, and now my second account has been actioned against. I don’t know whats going on, if its a software running in the background tripping the system, or if im just getting falsely reported for one-tricking my main and playing him well, but im sick of it. I’m not about to waste 4 hours of my life to win 50 qp games, just to get banned again for god knows what. Ive been playing on the same PC for years, and really haven’t changed anything about my set up. How am I getting banned now, with no changes to my software or hardware?

It doesnt help that blizzard is the most greedy and unresponsive company in the world. Guess im waiting for marvel rivals to drop

if anybody cares to watch the replay codes, they are:

YPSv9X
M2MGX2
Y46E6C
A4HEFG

I think I even played with somjuu in a match. I was Praise. its obvious im not cheating. its frustrating to see a game I loved going down this path, and punishing players for being good, without any sort of recourse

Open a support ticket and chase up on that.

Avoid making new accounts to circumvent the ban, it will just get them banned too and is against TOS.

The average user here doesn’t work in Blizzard and the forum staff isn’t the ticket handling staff or unban team or whatever.

Your best best is to open support ticket, give them information of what you are running and so on, what’s the issue or can be an issue.

Also note, for someone being suspected of cheating watching the replays you specifically gave isn’t gonna help your cause.

It’s likely a cheater (if you are cheating) will be smart enough not to show codes where they were cheating.

Also, if you have any macros - stop them

Any sort of click automation is also bannable as it’s against the standard key mapping given to you by the game.

thanks for this. I stopped my spotify macro, and I have an exam this week so I likely won’t be playing overwatch any time soon anyways

I also figured the replay thing as well, but still provided the codes in my support ticket. I made 4, 2 on each of my accounts

Blizzard reportedly doesn’t actually tell you what is detected. Thats problematic for me, as I really have no idea what is getting caught. I have thought about wiping my PC entirely and only redownloading the things I need, as my dad helped me build it when I was younger and there are a LOT of random things on it. BUT – I can’t imagine any of them are a cheating client. I wonder if something ive pirated, like MSI afterburner or a game, came riddled with a malware thats getting picked up?

Honestly, I doubt ill get meaningful feedback from them as a random player. Especially with them having a very large cheating issue going on right now – so they have no reason to review my report, when so many people are getting banned every day, and im sure many of them are valid, but there will of course be cases like mine
