"i have gold kill and damage" really?

just met a genji who refuse to switch because he has gold kill and damage while enemy team switch into monkey, brig, moira combo. ‘i have gold kill and damage, i am doing good!’ i cannot believe it comes out from someone who is in plat… but again i check his profile, gold last season.

I’m confused.
If the Genji is leading as the best DPS on your team while playing against all his hard counters, my question would be why aren’t Genji’s teammates playing better than him… :thinking:

Gold medals don’t mean a whole lot, but if your Genji has gold kills and damage you should stop telling him to switch. He is not the reason you are losing.

Hey, unless a Mercy or Lucio is saying that they gold kills and damages, the medals have little meaning.

I think the post is actually saying he has gold damage and elims so THEN the enemy team switches to counters. That’s how I read it but I cannot be for sure.

Well he must of been a good Genji if he’s able to get gold damage and kill his counters you really shouldn’t be mad at them. If anything what were you doing?

I’ve actually met a few Genjis the past few days who were capable of outplaying his counters. One particular Genji carried our team despite Brig and Monkey as well as a Sombra on the opposing side. Either the enemy team eas awful, or me pocketing Genji as Ana was one of the reasons. :thinking:

Realize that brig only counters Genji killing her teammates.

And Winston sucks at countering Genji.

some people just hate genji players… Once I had a genji on my team and I was paying attention that he was the only one getting picks and killing the enemy supports and at the end of the match our other dps who did nothing the whole game said “good job, genji. We lost because of you”

Perhaps the DPS without any damage or kill medals should’ve switched.

I’d love to know who OP was running and what their numbers were at the time, but he didn’t give that information.

There is no difference in skill between a gold and plat. This part of your post is completely irrelevant.

Did you even lose the match?
