I suck, put me with people that also suck so I can at least play the game. I just want to know how the game thinks this was a fair match? I really don’t understand, I genuinly want to f-ing know why this match was made? Even in the code, I can’t imagine this was a 50-50 matchup. I hate how everytime I try to play, it just gets worse and worse.

The player isn’t saying that they are amazing or have the best understanding of the game. They want to be placed in a rank where they can learn from their mistakes while others make the same mistakes as they do.

I re-read my post. I never said he sucked. He was just making stupid mistakes at Plat 2 rank which a bronze makes. He had nice aim. No game sense or even asking for peels would have saved them
This is why they would rather be with players of their level instead of Plat. OW has always had a bad problem setting the carrot too high for players and starting them in Plat instead of silver/low gold. It’s because they want players to play with the urge to get back to their initial level instead of starting them low and then letting them move upward naturally. This became worse when they added all the smurf protection crap to attempt to boost players that it thinks are smurfs higher.
Trust me you don’t want to derank. It actually gets worse and harder to play. Every mistake you’re doing is punished harder by your teammates not being able to make up the difference. You also have to deal with more trolls, leavers, and new accounts.
He wont make it in gold or silver. He will get buried in it.
The matchmaker does one thing and one thing only - ensure a completely unfair match. God-level skill on one team, zero skill on the other team. Every single time.
