I hate these new forums

I like some of the features. The new icons and emotes and new compatibility. The live replies is kind of cool. < edited in

But the layout… following conversations is such garbage on the eyes and brain.

Sometimes making things over complicated does not mean it’s better. Keep it clean and simple please. I keep trying to get used to this new layout, but I really do prefer something more straight forward and easy. :clipboard::sos:

I can stand maybe 20 minutes at the time on these new forums, after that my brain is fried… these new forums are so stressful

i’m actually more worried about data consumption. :frowning: i’m practically a broke college student that has incredibly limited internet data. maybe it’s a sign i need to stop going to the forums too much

It’s alright. Everything I need for forum browsing is pretty much always on screen now.

I believe the new forum based on Discourse, which has been used by many forums, so… I think we will eventually get used to it?

There is now less contrast between the first post’s background and the font color which is not so nice for readability.

It’s gonna take a while to get used to, but it does have additional features that can make the new forums good.

When I first used the new layout (roughly and hour ago) I was all “oh my god I hate this”

However, i’m quickly warming up to it… just give it some time and makes sense.

Theres a lot of new features that will take time to get used to. Lot of info for each post. I feel like its a little too much

I’d love for them to have a “lightweight” mobile app for the forums, just text, no extra images and so on, it was a real hassle using the old forum with a mobile phone.

What was wrong with pages? This infinite scrollbar version of the forums in grating to navigate.
