I hate that you can't talk after a potg

I hate that they removed the end screen after the play of the game. Now I have to type like 10 times faster and most of the conversation isn’t even toxic. Like sometimes we just joke around after the game and it doesn’t even finish because there is no end screen after potg. Like why do they find any way to not add it back in. Like they even added it back in but not after potg but after the whole game. I just liked it so much better in overawtch 1.

it is kinda annoying to be honest…

understandably people dont talk much during the match…but then you dont have time after match either

who care? personally I want that potg is removed so people actually play to win and not for the potg wich I find stupid and useless as hell.

Literally nobody plays for the reason of getting potg.

lol

people do. maybe not in comp but in qp 70% do for that

I don’t think you have any clue what you’re talking about

There’s a lot that has changed to make OW a less social experience. You know less about your teammates and opponents. There is a way to flag stuff without talking or texting. The after-game stuff has been abbreviated, without awards or time to comment. People are afraid to be banned so they aren’t talking at all. And the game itself has changed for “more individual impact”, meaning there is less team play.

I don’t even have a mic plugged in anymore.

Probably because post game chat is just pure toxicity lol

What nice things does anyone actually have to say after the game is done? If anything now its over no one has reason to hold back anymore. Some people bite their tongue during a game so it doesn’t tilt their teammate, there is no risk doing so after the game has ended

Who even stays for the potg?

I don’t think it’s any better or worse than during match….but when someone asks a legit question it’d be nice to actually be able to answer

I like after-game chat. It’s when you get to LOL about something that happened, or compliment someone’s play, or get in one last wise crack.

There should be a button during the POTG end that says “join lounge”. It’ll then transfer you and everyone else to a little room to talk things over and socialize. Then all you have to say is “join the lounge” :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah that is just cope. That never happens lol

After game chat is just even more time and chance to chat hate at the enemy or your own team after you won or loss. This community already cannot handle ‘gg’, i don’t think they are ready for 10-20 extra seconds after the game is finished to have time to talk openly with each other

Some of the most toxic comments happen in the potg segment after the game has ended cus there is no reason to hold back peoples opinions at that point. Adding even more time after the potg is just asking for increased toxicity

I know Dead by daylight has post game lobby chat and it’s literally a toxic sess pool of blame and harassment, an unnecessary war between whichever side won and lost

Oh no less time for people to spam gg ez ohhhhhh nooooooo

Who cares if its toxic? If words are affecting you then you got other problems to solve out. I remember in OW1 and it was always toxic but I really didn’t care. And I notice a lot of the time when I report people it shows up that message like a day later that says “thanks for reporting” usually if someone is toxic then I report and go on about my day. It’s not a big deal tbh.

I don’t recall ever getting upset at something someone said about me, and things they get into with each other I find pointless at worst, and amusing at best. I don’t get why people care so much about what strangers say. I report the ones that really need to be reported, ignore most of them, and respond in kind to the ones that aren’t too toxic.

e.g.

“DPS Moira in 2024. Wow.”
respond
“Ana who won’t withdraw from a lost fight. Wow.”

I do, there is nothing sweeter than 9 other players sitting there and watching me pop off. I hope when I die and am in the afterlife I can see each and every pog moment of mine that Blizzard’s algorithm thought was Gucci enough to play for the entire lobby.
