I FIXED THE PATCH ISSUE (0xc000007b) WITH VISUAL C++

I fixed the issue with yesterday`s (2024-10-29) patch by installing: “Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 e 2022”. In my case, I downloaded the executable file “vc_redist.x64.exe”.

You can find it with a simple Google search. Make sure you are in Microsoft dot com domain.

I was getting the error message: “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)” but now is fixed.

NEVER put DLL files you download on the Internet in you System32 folder. NEVER. If you did, format your computer.

You saved me! I was literally losing hope. I uninstalled and reinstall the game. I tried repairing the game and even tried downloading on steam. Nothing worked! This saved me so much trouble! Thank you!

My issue with this newest patch (and some of the previous reverted patches) was Blizzard Error: The application encountered an unexpected error.

The UseLargePages registry tweak was my problem, which alot of other anticheats have recently been blocking.

I was minutes away from formatting and rebuilding my new HP PC when the C++ install fixed it.

I had tried to just install the free community MS Visual Studio with no options and it didn’t work but I reread your post and modified the install with two of the C++ optional PC builds and it worked!
