I feel deceived with new content

I started playing this game in 2017.
For some reason, I left in 2020 for 5 years, and now I am back.

Ok, here we go. I can swallow junk queen, Sojourn. They looking pretty decent. But what is that Kiriko? Teleport to nowhere, through walls, purge ults with just E? Seriously?

What that girl Venture is? Utterly ugly abilities, these abilities can also completely turn the tide of a battle. An ultimate that kills everything from a huge distance. Her voice is just unbearable to hear, simply unpleasant, uncomfortable. Just mention that she screams all the time with oOopsY-DOoPsy!!!

Maps. Horizon? Volskaya? Hanamura? Where are they??? That was coolest maps with they own atmosphere. Valskaya - winter in Russian St. Petersburg. Hanamura - spring in Japan, sakura blossom. Horizon - that huge jumps in low gravity, outside of the station… I miss this.

What is going on? Blizzard what are you do? All this new staff you brought in the game looking controversial. You taken away much more than you add (maps, 6 vs 6, mode, loot boxes). In return, you added several controversial heroes and a battle pass system (what a joy!!! No)

Do only I feels this? Mb I ve been away for too long?

You’ll get used to her. The TP and suzu are on cooldowns, so she’s not spamming it. Like any other CD: bait it out or wait for her to spend it before ulting.

Nope, NB character, not a girl. (Figured I’d best say it before someone else does.)

Treat them like old DPS Doomfist. They’re really effective up close, but less so at range. The Ult is good, but then I think their players would be annoyed if they had an ult that was like being slapped with wet paper.

2CP as a mode got removed from the game. Ngl I miss it too some days, think it would be nice to have variety even if it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

I’d say give current OW a try, see if things settle for you. If you still hate it after a bit then just uninstall and move on to another game. :+1:

The statement that Blizzard took away much more than they added is just straight up untrue.

OW2 has far more content than OW1 as it includes basically the entire first game but then added plenty of new modes, maps, characters, improved graphics, QoL, better monetisation, etc, etc.

Do you need some gameplay tips to help you?

2CP maps might have been pretty, but the mode was terrible to play and was thankfully moved out of the standard modes.

If you want to play it, it pops up as a card in the Arcade sometimes, or there are custom lobbies.

Yes. I think people hate 2cp because it required a little bit teamwork. All this maps was very beautiful.

Well that human being appeared is a female with female voice, I guess. But it has nothing to do with the topic of this messages.

They removed 2cp for 3cp and 5cp, I guess it’s more engaging, but the fun factor feels subjective. It is quite a massive shift away from the initial core audience. It feels like at release the statement was - “theres a hero for every possible mentality of player”, but now it feels much more narrow in terms of needing a very specific skillset.

It does make things more chaotic now :joy: everyone constantly flanking everyone and really short early/mid fights. Team deathmatch / arena shooter with a payload

I agree with most of this, QoL is hit or miss. Some things are better. Others are worse. But in no world is monetization better in ow2, where pretty much every skin is 20 bucks. 2-3 skins or a few bpasses and that was enough to buy ow1 and get skins for free for 6 years simply playing the game.

i fully agree with anybody thats wants 2cp back. it never made sense to me to scrap that mode. it wasnt broken, it wasnt impossible to make it work for 5v5. they just scrapped it for no reason.

That’s because they lied to all of us about the sequel they were supposedly working on(clearly they were not). Sorry OP but they don’t care one way or another anymore. The game is basically in maintenance mode.

because overwatch 2 was just an update, if overwatch 1 is still there (a false statement because i cant play 2cp with 6vs6 and archives events or even have a border) is because overwatch 2 is not a sequel

trash modes nobody likes, trash modes could be added in ow1 anyway, characters planned for ow1, created during ow1 that were made for ow1 because ow2 was announced as a separated game with pvp intact, improved graphics? where, same crap. better monetiation jajajajajajaja baits used to be credible

flashpoint is even worst, 2cp was fine, only crybabies who couldnt deal with a quick loss complained, clash is 2cp on drugs with worst maps, they ruined amazing anubis and hanamura
