I won’t start a roman here, but since I find it way too funny I have to comment on that.
I used to be a flex player before role queue and stayed between 3800-4100. After role queue my SR perfectly reflects the respective roles actually. We all know that people have been saying this year after year(and still nowadays). How people are being held back by “bad players”.
Let me tell you, it doesn’t exist… like holy moly. My friend lend me his account because I am not that kind of guy that wants to throw placement games. His tank is at 2900 and DPS at 2700. All I can tell you is, those people deserve to be there. The amount of mind-boggling decisions these people make is out of this world.
Supports don’t heal most of the time and get toxic when they don’t get what they want.
Tanks only feed most of the time nor do they protect the team AT ALL and then they whine about DPS not doing anything.
Surprisingly, the DPS players seem the most competent and I have rarely seen some that aren’t completely braindead.
I actually had to THROW so I wouldn’t climb. Again, people make the weirdest and most questionable plays, I can’t even explain most of them. Often enough it’s just feeding or using ultimates after you already lost the fight.
So my question is, why do people think it exists? Do people actually think they’re better even though they aren’t? Like, what’s going on in their head?
nobody holds the developers accountable
for making a game that hides all relevant information from teammates
the tutorial for this “Hybrid Moba played in an FPS setting”
is abysmal on purpose to not scare away casual players (they didn’t even try to teach their community how to play their own game)
so if you legit wonder why players play soo poorly up and down ladder
launch the tutorial again just for a minute
and see what you think it tells you as a new player
What would that help? Give you something to blame people which you are forced to finish the match anyway? Wasting time during a match looking at that stats instead of concentrating on your match?
Commenting on the stats and triggering people? I mean more than it is already. Actually they should remove the medal info during the match. They give too much information already.
how is it that you don’t see that what we have now is unacceptable
and is literally the cause of the amount of toxicity in this community ?
the medal system, private profiles, lack of scoreboard and shared information, and a purposely pathetic tutorial (that teaches a player nothing but a area and how to walk to it to capture it) are all designed on purpose to keep you in a hamster wheel pulling at the slot machine
none of it helps the player in any way shape or form
it literally is just a “casual” enabler
for others to waste your time
and that’s why this game is so toxic
they would help teammates that are actually trying to work together and problem solve and win the game
that’s what
there’s a very large percentage of players blizz seems to have that think stats mean they get ridiculed
if that’s the case then report those for that and avoid
but learn to play the game and actually work as a team
Pretty sure it has nothing to do with that and more about the person in team chat screaming at people. And stats will only give them more information to keep harassing you.
I would like some type of stat system, but its too unique of a game to have baseline stats. I can get no damage medals as mei but still be extremely effective. But toxic dude will ask me to switch.
owennelson.co.ukmy-thoughts-on-blizzard-banning-the-use-of-pursuit-gg
sry can’t include link here but if you add but that should show a example of the pursuit scoreboard after the game
pursui.gg I thought did a great job of showing relevant information
they banned it though without even thinking about it
lierally gave no advantage other than info about your previous games
probably cause it exposed throwers much sooner than the replay system
A bronze gets to play vs other bronzes and thinks that their play is normal.
I’m around 2k right now. Lowest I’ve been is 1400 when I first started and peaked 2550.
But also had a gm friend (left for Apex), so got to play vs diamonds and masters. Wow… Was a real eye opener.
It’s all well and good watching streamers, etc. But that’s like watching Tyson box and expecting to be a boxing god. You need to experience the inside of a boxing ring (I’ve won a couple of charity boxing matches) to appreciate what it’s really like.
Yes. In a lot of cases they underestimate the enemy’s aim and overestimate their own. Got shot in the head? Ahh that widow got a lucky shot. Five times later? Ahh that widow is smurfing. If only my main tank would throw a shield in front of me while I’m flanking and nowhere near the main line where my main tank is we could have won! Sheesh my team are dumb.
That’s what happens when you add a horrible system like role queue. You now have people who don’t want to wait in the dps queue (don’t blame them because a lot of the times now after waiting 10+ mins you get in a match and someone leaves right away so the match closes and you wait another 10+ mins to maybe have it happen again or you get in and your team has a leaver after the timer so you are SOL all map.)
Anyways, so now you have people who want to dps but not wait so they go tank or heals and focus more on dps than work as a team. Healers who focus dps is basically an auto loss and then add that to yolo tanks, well, there you go.
that’s kind of hilarious, the effect of that is to change what the tier you’re in for each role means. So silver dps could equal plat tank in terms of overall player skill, just because of all the thrower “tanks” you’re talking about forcing the skill floor of tanks that actually try up above them.
if it is tht obvious you could explain what that should be.
Actually the contrary is the case: more info more to blame others for. And it doesn’t help at all: you cannot do anything about it. You are stuck with the people in the match.
You avoided my question again: how does the stats help you?
