I do not want Mercy at all to be meta with Rez still in her kit. It was un fun to play against mass rez, moth meta, and even now. If I get a kill that can stagger the enemy and give us an easier push… That shouldn’t be completely denied simply because this character has a literal resurrection in her kit. It’s a big reason why most people from what i’ve seen don’t want her meta again. If she wants to be meta they need to remove this ability. It’s not even to mention the fact that if you pick somone, she can
Hide around a corner and rez.
Start her rez then move behind an entire wall and still get it off.
Get protected by the vast amounts of abilities that provide protection
This super jump rez thing that exists.
If I get a kill, they shouldn’t come back alive. So as long as she has that. She can sit pretty with her 55 hps buff and other smaller buffs, just nothing that turns her into THE meta pick again.
Possibly turn rez into an ability where she provides an instant amount of healing in a small area around her (possibly the size of doomfist ult). It could provide an instant 100-150 hp.

is it fun for you when your enemy survive cause a lucio or zen ults and saved them?
Ultimates are NEVER fun for other team.
extremely situational…as ur a slug during cast and if you go too far out (which at that speed and duration is unliekly in 99% of cases) it will not rez target.
also gonan say…given the heroes you play you shouldnt have na issue with mercy…as they can all murder her durign the cast time of it.
Resurrection is Mercy’s thing - without it she has no particular character. It’s like Torbjorn’s turret - I wish they’d either remove it entirely or make Torbjorn reliant on it again because I think it gives him effectively two primary fires, but that’s never going to happen because Torbjorn is turret man, he cares more about the poxy thing than he does about his own daughter. So it’s not getting taken out.
Moreover, it’s extremely well balanced on its own merits - it’s powerful, it can undo a death, but the cooldown is severe and Mercy is extremely vulnerable as she casts it, which is also an extremely long cast. She can be interrupted or straight up killed in a lot of ways. Basically, if you don’t want her bringing people back, stop her from doing it?
Good news for you is the devs seem to think resurrect is way more powerful than it is and the whole rest of the hero must be useless because of it, she’s basically a weapons platform - one powerful ability that the entire rest of the character only exists to be a vessel for it. Her healing is awful, she has little utility outside her awful healing, so she’s not going to be meta.
Also, if the hate you’re getting is a problem, maybe don’t be so combative about an opinion you know is going to be unpopular.
I do want Mercy to be meta because she promotes fast paced, mobile comps like dive as well as enabling a large variety of DPS which no other main support does
She also works well with every tank combo so it’s not Rein Zarya every game
and she works well with Ana, Zen, Bap, and Lucio who are all good supports I like seeing in my games!
That’s fine. They can do that. Just without the part of bringing important picks back from the dead. Which NO You can’t just “stop her”. That’s the most 4header thing i’ve seen on this forum. If kill someone from across map, at the start which could enable our team an easier fight. What are we supposed to do from stopping the rez? Absolutely nothing because we can’t get over there.
With so many one shots in the game I don’t understand the problem with one single target rez on a 30 second cool down that makes her sit in one spot with a cast time that makes her vulnerable to stuns boops and deaths. There is nothing wrong with rez or Mercy becoming meta with it.
