Comp is too slow for grinding challenges and the match quality isn’t a whole lot better either.

I play more QP than comp these days, mostly because I play with my buddy and gf more than I do solo.

When you’re duo/trio, QP really isn’t so bad. I haven’t played a lot of it solo lately so I can really comment on that…

Comp solo que is alright… Just ranked up to Diamond 4, strictly solo que, no signs of stopping.

I dunno, I don’t really have any complaints about any modes. Then again, I’m not looking for things to be angry about either.

I’d rather play neither and play PVE instead. If I could earn battlepass xp from PVE I’ll never do PVP ever again.

I meet “sweatier” people in quick play than in comp.

Also have to mention how stupid trying to insult people with “sweaty” is, its such a “I’m garbage at the game so lets come up with a word to demean better players” line. Yeah, you’re trash, we know, thanks for telling us.

Arcade is the only correct way to play Overwatch, both quick play and comp are wrong.

In QP not everyone is trying their hardest, and flaming when you don’t.
In ranked it less like a game, and more like a job (after a certain point)

Also, gold weapon tokens are only so appealing.

I just wanna play the heroes I like and have fun. I don’t care enough to try to get better at the game or try to win by any means necessary. I wouldn’t want to ruin the experience for players who do want to take the game more seriously though, so I don’t play comp.

Comp is 10 times worse with a just as inconsistent matchmaker. There’s nothing competitive, yet, about Comp.

Quickplay is fast and like most ow its casual where winning and losing doesn’t make a bit of difference.

Competitive is all over the place and a mode you can’t play in a stack with your friends the higher you climb. I don’t see the point of playing a multiplayer mode that punishes climbing with my friends.

its why i play qp , as im soo bad at the game and want to avoid the toxic cesspoll of comp , the throwers if they cant get their own way , the afkers that cant get their own way , they dont leave the ,matches for fear of being banned they ruin it for others , in qo doesnt matter if players leave / throw or afk ,

I like QP better. In competitive people are too toxic and demand meta chars, even though the meta really only applies to the best of the best. In QP people are slightly less toxic and less likely to demand meta characters.

Competitive is like pro sports in that people expect professionalism at all times. It’s like a job. QP is like collage sports. People experiment and have more fun.

because people in QP arnt going to rage and be awful for the most part
and also because my TF2 friendly in me prevents me from killing someone who made the same mistake as me (for instance yesterday i had a game where the enemy ball was poking out of the doorway, we both understood the situation and let each other do our own thing, something that wouldnt be allowed in comp)

I think I’m in a sweet spot as far as competitive value goes. D5/D4 so far have been great. Games seem evenly matched, people haven’t been toxic, ques are fast and I’m not tied down to any “meta”. Overall, I’ve been enjoying it a lot. More than I did Gold - plat, certainly. I’m able to rely on my teams, for the most part.

QP has been more of a crap shoot, but I also que with someone who’s never done their placements/started a few months back and someone who doesn’t play comp anymore, and we’ve all been playing flex que rather than the roles we usually play.

I only ever play comp, but quick play isn’t that bad my guy. It’s still 10 times better than any open que mode. I’ll be playing it today to try the new hero
