Every single character I pick I’m awful at, I am constantly losing games and feel like I suck 
I am very sad, my last match I just stood there and lost on purpose
I’ve tried d.va and a couple other heroes and no matter how hard I try I am not getting better at all
I really like this game and it breaks my heart that I suck so bat at it
Queue support and play Kiriko, where you basically spectate the game and get free value
Just pick the one you like the most and stop using the other ones. You will git gud before you know it.
Try to not stand still.
It’s not about trying hard. Familiarize yourself with them and you will already be better than almost everyone else at your rank. I promise. They suck more than you do because at least you WANT to get better.
Practice makes perfect. Do not be discouraged!
Hey man, I wouldn’t mind spending a little time with you in game giving pointers as someone who’s played a lot. But I’m not an extremely good player either. And overwatch is a hard game, primarily because you have to work with your teammates and play at each other’s pace. And if you don’t, you get punished hard for it. That’s why tank can suck so bad for even high level players right now. Because if your team has already died, then you’re now out of position and have to die as well.
One pointed I can give now is to turn on the sound effect when a teammate dies to help you gage when a fight is winnable or already lost. That will help you know what to do in certain situations and learn from mistakes easier.
Head over to /r/Overwatchuniversity on reddit and ask for a vod review. It will help you out tremendously. But don’t show them the game where you stand still and lose on purpose lol.
Which characters would you like to be good at?
In terms of very general advice, I would try not to view losses as a source of frustration. That’s a downward spiral that’s going to make you play worse but also - more importantly - leave you feeling upset, which is obviously no good. Try to evaluate your mistakes with a degree of level-headedness; was I standing too far out in the open? Did I try chasing someone down to secure the kill which led to me myself getting killed? Did I hold onto ult for too long? Do this for long enough and you’ll start developing better habits, and you’ll start winning games.

This is so accurate, and sad tbh. Even Ana ends up having to do more most the time than a Kiri in order to win. Most games I play as Kiri I keep my team alive for 1.5 fights and since we almost lose I just throw some kunais and win!
Don’t chase someone down unless you think your teammates are with you or you’ve communicated that with your team, or you have a Kiri who can just tp and Suzu…

Post replay codes. In the main menu, click your profile name in the top right of the screen, then history > replays, then right click games and share to generate the codes. That way we can see where you’re struggling.

This should help with more specific advice! Not a bad idea, just don’t listen to some people, because not all of us really know that much about the game. If you can work some logic into it and have it make sense, then definitely take the advice though
Dva is a super tough tank to play in 5v5 , she’s a good pick a lot of the time, but you also have to make sure your DM management is really good. And make sure to DM your teammates!
