Its a great patch more rewarding hero’s are better and hero’s or mechanics that are unfun to play against have been nerfed.
They probably going to ruin it tho with the next update.
That’s likely because this is the single worst patch they’ve ever applied to the game.

Its funny mainly low ranks Plat and below hate this patch but high ranks and pros love it i wonder why.
It will take time for things to settle.
I don’t see much of a difference with exception of few weird picks.
It’s even funnier that you’d think in game ranks have anything to do with the topic at hand.
I’m in the “high rank” category, I still don’t really like this patch over the last one.

To me the game feels great because all the cancer combos are weaker.
instead of nerfing/buffing individual heroes if the were overperforming/underperforming they did a HUGE global change so… i guess yea some winners and losers and more issues too i guess
to me tho it feels the same somewhat that i dont really care much. i mean say if they did something crazy with movement like movement acceleration or something THAT WOULD really make it feel different then maybe. they did make it easier to shoot stuff tho for hitscan lol… maybe a mistake that they didnt predict would happen
thats what happens with a global change, unforseen circumstances.
i do find it interesting that they said they want to do more big changes in the future… lets see if that happens. one thing for sure if they do it then discussions will roll no mater how toxic but yea it will be interesting
we got venture coming next season as well and i forsee him being overpowered like mauga was or maybe this time they will rail that in a little. or maybe not also since not much internal testing anymore lol. i get the feeling i wont like that hero if its as annoying as hammond.
i kind of wonder about ventures interaction with widow will be like too. he might be a widow killer since he can just dig dug up to you and kill you so yea ill probably be frustrated by that 
It is a pretty big change. To me, there isn’t anything I hate individually.
But right now, as much as I like Zen, I’d rather not feel like I have to mirror him… or else.
I don’t think it really has anything to do with that. I think it’s more about what playstyle you like. If you like dive and prefer cheese heroes to be weak, this is the patch for you. If you like bunker / poke and want low effort heroes to be strong then you preferred the previous patch. And if you want more heroes to be viable in more places, you probably also aren’t completely sold on this patch.
To me, this patch has both pros and cons. I definitely like it more than I expected to like it, but there’s definitely some changes that still need to happen.

Last season was perfection.
Hog and Mauga were hilariously easy to deal with so not sure what your problem is there.
Genji is a soft, squishy mosquito. Super easy to deal with if your tank is competent. This has always been the case.
Mercy pocket is and has always been a staple of Overwatch. If this upsets you go play a different game.
If Pharah/Mercy is a problem for you, get good at countering with your own pharah or echo. Hitscan will never help you against a good pharah.
Its not a staple of the game its things that have been abused and make 60% of DPS useless and rely a specific comp just to deal with it, that’s why Blizzard just nerfed it because they know better than you.
It’s already ruined.

They was never good Pharah without Mercy pocket now they lost their rank and they are mad.
They fail to see that Pharah is actually better now its just the Pharah and Mercy combo which is worse.
Even if that were true (it’s not I see plenty of people in diamond and masters complaining in chat), the big problem for Team 4 there is that the vast majority of the playerbase is plat and below. Those are the people buying skins and making Microsoft the big bucks. They can’t alienate those people.
Patch seems to be hated by “Kite Simulator” Mercy healbots and Roadhog mains? This patch is fun
