Overbuff says LW has the worst win rate across all ranks. I believe it.

Also someone explain how all supports in bronze can have below a 50% win rate. I’m no good at numbers.

It’s the same reason GM+ usually have above 50%. They are soo above everyone else that the game typically can only find players worse than them. If you’re low enough in bronze the matchmaker can typically only ever find players better than them lol.

I don’t know if I really trust it to be working again. It’s saying that JQ’s got a 58% win rate in GM, for example. Maybe JQ really is killing it out there and the devs will nerf her, but I wouldn’t ask for JQ nerfs on that basis alone out of fear that Overbuff’s still completely barmy.

Overbuff hasn’t worked since Private Profiles. Even the idea that “it gets enough representation from the profiles that aren’t private” doesn’t make it function.

For a few reasons;

  1. If your profile is private its because you play heroes you don’t want others to know you play, or your stats aren’t where you feel comfortable with others seeing them (not good at the game).

  2. Players may not know that private is the default setting, so Overbuff doesn’t track most new accounts.

This being the case, Overbuff is instead a “best guess” at the statistics of the game. It was never more representative that Overbuff doesn’t work then the time it Blizzard developers came out with the hard fact statistics of Soldier 76 versus Genji. The difference in what the facts were to Overbuff was by 2%. Overbuff had Genji with the higher win rate and pick rate but the opposite was true. Here again, the more skillful players, people who play Genji, are more likely to have an open profile to players who play Soldier 76 (Call of Duty Guy).

No matter how fixed Overbuff is, it is still just a best guess. Yes, its the only guess we have, but its next to worthless.

Junker Queen has no “true” counters

Those who play her are really good at her.

All these good buffs they gave her have solidifed her like back to her Original state to where she could never really be easily countered.

Only time shes really stopped is when one of her counters or certain heros are like directly super OP.

When shes Balanced most of the game is usually balanced.
