Had a funny interaction with two players.
Were on attack on a push map and there is a widow holding high ground out in front of the cart. Two players on our team start getting bratty and just constantly repeating “shoot the widow”, “someone kill the widow”, “widow on high ground” in a dull monotone voice just non stop.
Finally I lose my cool and in an angry tone am like “can you both be quiet for two seconds, I can’t concentrate” and surprisingly, they stopped talking and we won the fight and were able to get out of spawn.
A minute or two later, I talk to them again and say “hey sorry guys, didn’t mean to get heated back there” and you would’ve thought I just slapped their mom with the way they reacted…
One of them is like “you’re a little @#*D&” and just continues to laugh and the other was like “wtf why are you apologizing? What makes you think I need an apology? f you, you’re a baby” blah blah
I just sat there in utter confusion wondering “did I just offend someone… by apologizing?” 
I think I can finally say I understand why some players prefer to just completely disable all forms of chat

Children will be children these days some people just grow physically after the age of 9 but their brain stays the same

You should have told them that you dominated them by apologizing and they will never be considered men again.

Honestly this is the most egregious thing I’ve encountered so far in all my years playing OW. It’s mostly funny more than anything lol… I encountered far worse during the brief 3 month stint when I played Rivals.
