I’m not saying it’s impossible, but we all tried to fit the square through the triangle hole when we were kids and saw how well that worked

They had incredible synergy back in the tank meta days, multiple instances of flirting in-game, and Rein seems to have a somewhat fatherly bond with Ana’s kid. What’s not to understand about it?

because a nanoed rein is probably one of the scariest things you could possibly see. and considering ana has the highest single target healing and reins hard to miss.

He does like 112 a swing too if he’s nano. His firestrike will do 150 damage. His charge will basically delete anyone he has.

I’m curious what gives you the impression that they’re so incompatible?

As an Ana main, I literally LOVE having a rein on my team.

A) You have a massive shield to hide behind, which means that once everyone on your team is topped up, they’ll stay that way, so you can actually contribute to damage.

B) No flanker is going to try to get at you if you push up into him. If the flanker is at range to try and stay away from rein, you can scope in and pressure them away, and if they’re up close to try to burst you down Rein’s hammer literally can’t miss them.

C) Reins LOVE to push into the enemy team and start swinging… as long as you can keep them up. But thanks to your grenade and your distance healing, you CAN keep him up - and chances are the grenade that keeps your Rein up is also going to antiheal anyone standing around him, making him especially lethal. A killer grenade followed up by a well timed nano is, quite literally, a won fight.

D) If a Rein hits a good earthshatter and you nano him on the follow up, EVERYTHING dies. It’s almost like a harder to implement but faster charging dragon/grav.

…That said, this all assumes that the enemy team isn’t mobile enough to get away from your rein. If they can, then you’re ****ed up the *** forever.
