I don’t like the Rein all star skin

I’ll admit a decent amount of effort is put into the all star skins…but if you want my honest opinion, I’m let down a bit with Rein. Maybe it’s just me. I’m pretty sure it’s just me. I just thought an integral hero to the game when it started, would’ve got this mind blowing skin (I had fingers crossed for Poseidon Rein for the longest time). I don’t even know what the skin is supposed to be. Any guesses?

I like the particle effect on his green antlers, he looks like a gentle forest giant :rose:

I never knew I wanted that until right now

Also I hope we will get unique voice lines for these skins

Okay… never noticed the particle effect. Won’t lie that’s kinda cool.

Ikr. He’d have the massive beard and golden armour. Seaweed and coral covered giant trident. It would make sense as well for all star, cause the shield would have a water effect and fire strike would be like a wave.

I’m not really a fan, he already has that one skin that looks worn down by nature and it reminds me of that but with darker shades of green, Im still gonna buy it incAse I change my mind at a later date lol

not to mention Poseidon is also the god of earthquakes, too

(i also thought we would be getting Poseidon rein)

I don’t like them both but I kinda expected it even before the reveal. The theme is just not suitable for these characters imo.

But we already have the water Tracer one from the first All Star skins.
Doubt they will go with the same/similar theme twice.
First year was Fire Tiki Genji vs Water Guardian Tracer.
Second year was Moon Mercy vs Sun Lucio
Third year is Air D.Va vs Earth Rein

I immediately wanted it because I’m calling it the Jolly Green German

But personally it’s similar to my favorite Orisa skin (Forest Spirit) but I don’t like playing Orisa and I’m a good Rein, so this lets me get the best of both worlds

I don’t like it because I am Pagan and Gaia is my matron Goddess. They just mashed as much as they could into a skin and called it Gaia without actually making it decent or even really researching all that much. It’s sloppy and offensive, honestly.

Isn’t it Gaia? It’s Greek mythology which refers to the earth. It’s been used in games like Final Fantasy VII in the past too.

It’s loosely “the life of the earth” from what I understand.
