I can't talk or hear others in voice chat on console (Xbox One)

As the title says, I can’t talk or hear others in voice chat. I’ve tried everything I could think of and I also visited the article addressing this (Overwatch Voice Chat Troubleshooting - Blizzard Support) but I already tried the things it mentioned to fix the issue.

My microphone works in an Xbox Party just fine, but when I switch it to Overwatch, others can’t hear me, and for some reason, I can’t hear others even though I see their names and hero icon with the audio symbol popping up on the top left and I know they’re talking.

I’ve checked maybe several times over the past 50 minutes now and I don’t have either my microphone irl, my microphone on Xbox, or myself in-game as muted. I don’t think my account has been muted, as I haven’t even talked to anyone in-game for the past week that I’ve started playing the game again after months of absence.

I’ve tried push to talk, Auto join, on, and off settings for each of the different voice chat settings, everything. I don’t know what to do. Help please and thank you for reading :3

edit: Also, I forgot to mention, but around 2 or 3-ish days ago, my voice chat randomly started working while I was in a custom game on my own making something in the workshop, and I didn’t do anything different from before.

This is a known issue. I’m mobile right now so I can’t link you the thread, but there is a long one about Xbox voice chat.

Alrighty, I’ll try to search around for it to see if I can find it. Thank you so much! Has a good day ^ ^
