They are sorry that you do not understand why that match is fair.
I guess there is common ground between us but I’m on the side of pure incompetence by them. I genuinely think they believe that faster matches will retain players and make more money than quality matches.

I dont know why this thread has derailed when the answer is simple matchmaking is currently not good and accepted by blizzard, they are also going to improve it in season 3.

Joins a game mode where a bronze can team up with a gm and expects comp level matchmaking.
If you are seeking a ranked experience you should be in the ranked mode.

It happens in ranked as well. The range seems to be a bit smaller, but I would not say that makes it particularly competitive at the moment. As NerfThis stated, that is why we are getting adjustments moving forward.

If that is the case the complaint should be aimed at ranked. Where tight matches are expected. Not at a mode that is the antithesis of ones expectations.

I came to the forum as someone who has never posted here to post exactly this. The matchmaking is ****ing atrocious. I have played 20 quickplay games in the last 5 hours with my 3 friends who are all golds (I am plat/Diamond). Out of those 20 games, we have won FOUR and have consistently matched up against players WAY out of our ELO. Every single game that we have lost has been absolute domination by the other team. The matchmaking system in this game is absolutely terrible. I won’t be coming back until it’s been fixed

Sometimes I feel like the only decent person on my team in QP who can use a brain lol.
No offense but, some teammates I get literally are not of my skill level, I have no idea why I get matched up with them.

Buddy - this game is trash its been broken for 6 years and blizzard isnt doing nothing to fix it. I think the only way to beat them is to all mass quit
when did we want to be babied or not improve in a game or anything ,you do know that in order to get better you have to play people better then you not people on your same level. thats like going to the park to play basketball and you play next but then see they way better then you and you quit 2 min in and go play at a different court to play by yourself or if no open courts go to another park to play lol
One thing is to play and lose against people a bit better than you and other thing very different is being BODIED because your team plays like a bunch of toddlers and the enemy team is a full capable team.

The matchmaker is garbage, I totally agree…but complaining about the matchmaking in QP is ridiculous.
It’s a mode where any rank can play with/against any rank, so it’s basically luck of the draw what kind of match you get. The emphasis is on finding a game quick, hence the name.

Why are you expecting super strict matchmaking in a mode called “quickplay”? The goal for quickplay is faster queues not super strict SR matches

it does teaches you don’t walk in a straight line or the widow will blow your head off ,use better cover to not get hooked evetime he looks at you, dont use the same spawn door if you getting camped, it teaches you how to play different heros and how to master them before entering comp with them, it shows you where they attack you from is it low ground high ground they take angles etc…there is many things it teaches you how far are you from that ranked player where you have to improve in to get there the list can go on.
but all these days are about complaining and want stuff handed to you. in no game will they ever be a 100% matchmaking your joining a team of Randoms that are having a good day or a bad day or the drunk or dont care for the day or just want to fool around etc…
