Asking for genuine advice how to fix my account/matchmaking
Let me just preface this that I don’t think i’m a good player, so any responses like “git gud” will be ignored as bait
I’m usually between gold 1 and plat 2 elos
I’m an okay player for my rank, I usually top frag of the 4 dps when there are 0 smurfs.
recently been keeping track how many smurfs the enemy team gets
because idk why, 15 or 16 of them in a row were specifically on the enemy team.
I’m genuinely so desparate that im keeping track of this on a notepad every time somebody obvious appears.
And let me make it clear, that by smurf i dont mean anybody who is popping off or doing better than my team or me. I’m talking about genuine masters/gm badges in a platinum lobby, going 44 elims 1 death as genji (both our dps about 18-16 unable to catch up with a 15 rank difference) keeping the entire lobby hostage, and then BMing in the chat saying “this is super low freelo” just to admit it
That’s the kind of players I have been forced to lose all week.
Which part of the matchmaking algorythm have I pissed off?
It would make sense to get some smurfs on my team from time to time? but i cant remember the last time I had one.
How am I supposed to climb against masters/gm players? how can i possibly instantly bridge that plat to gm gap to beat them?
This reminds me of the MM anecdotes ppl told years ago, where they “reset” their algorythm by throwing on hanzo. I dont want to throw.
