I Can't Really Play With My Duo

We’re both low skill/rank.
For whatever reason, whenever we group up just the two of us, we are put against people so far above our skill it’s not even funny. I’m talking like Masters+ while we’re both Silver or worse, with nobody of that crazy skill on the enemy team on our team.
We’re bad, I mean our hidden sr has to be so low.

When I play by myself, games are nowhere near this unbalanced. Yeah, they’re bad, but not as frequently or horribly as when I duo with my friend. Masters on the enemy team is a frequent thing when I’m playing with my duo.

It’s unbearable. Something is wrong with the system, because like I said when we play by ourselves it’s bad but manageable, but when we team up it’s so so so so so awful.
Notes: This is only in QP, we don’t play any other mode together. No, I don’t want “easy effortless wins just for grouping up”, I just don’t want… this…

You’re better off finding another videogame if you’re with a friend. It’s not a matter of if
but when this game will start to upset you.

  1. Do you get rolled when that happens?
  2. Is the accounts you are viewing open profile or are you basing it on a title
  3. How often do either of you play ranked if you haven’t played enough you might be higher rank than you think.

Yup. Kinda sad.

The more you group up, usually the matches are either too easy or too difficult.

  1. Yes.
  2. Some are open profile, some have titles, but it’s also the way that they play.
  3. I have barely played ranked and I don’t think he’s ever played it. When I did play I couldn’t get above silver, no matter what.

MM punishes stacking, as usual.
If I want to play with my duo and to not suffer, we go 2-3 ranks below our mains.

I feel you. Every game in QP I play GM/Top 500. It’s really getting old me and my wife just wanna have fun

I have no idea what rank(s) our own skill levels would be considered to be, but my sister and I encounter a fair handful of diamond and master titles when duoing in QP too. Actually, we even beat them sometimes, so we don’t automatically tilt every time we find them :stuck_out_tongue:

For me, despite all the claims of grouped matches being less balanced, solo queue is a lot more intimidating. I just feel way more comforted knowing there’s one other person on the team who definitely won’t throw, and won’t assume I’M throwing if I make a mistake
