I can understand why some people don't like Scientist Moira

To be honest, it wasn’t the skin I expected either. There are, like, 4 to 6 “lab coat Moira” Sprays in OW. Honestly, when I thought we would have gotten a skin like Scientist Moira, it would have looked almost identical to those Sprays. Instead, we got this current skin design.

Now, before you get bent out of shape, I want to say that I actually like the skin. I’m not complaining about it. In fact, it’s going to be my “Default” Moira skin, going forward. But I can understand why some people are disappointed. Especially, if you expected a skin version of those Sprays. And that is okay, if they feel that way

But, what do you all think? Do you like the skin? Do you not like it? Do you wish it was closer to Moira’s Sprays? Let me know.

People are disappointed about the Moira skin over Junkrat’s third (fourth if you count the Joker HotS skin :^)) clown skin? shook.

No matter the basis of the skin, it’s actually incredibly important for them to keep up with the character’s shape and general silhouette.

This skin, from its proto-cryo machine and experimental tubes to its needles for her unchanged lifestealing hand, was the best we could have gotten in my opinion.

Scientist Moira looks pretty much the same as her lab coat from her Origin Trailer, with a few embellishments and a prototype weapon. It’s exactly what I was expecting.

Only issue I have with it is the peculiar cross cloth across the chest. Don’t imagine it would have been too difficult to have made it a button up there.

And for those that keep using the Silhouette argument, my rebuttal is Blackwatch Reyes and Strike Commander Morrison. Blizzard clearly has no problem with adding or removing cloaks and coats.

I absolutely love the syringe nails, though.

That look to basic and simple for my tastes sadly. Black moira or Banshe moira are a lot more “workout out” skins

It’s like visual Xanax. The most interesting thing are the needle fingers and they’re barely noticeable.

I didnt see them at first but people are pointing them out and tbh if Bap hadnt been released I’d get golden syringes
but sorry moira, bap is cuter than u so im getting his gold

I need to replay Retribution just for the intro lmao, its soooo sweet watching the small touches of personality in how every agent kills talon agents
(also, reyes choking people again :heart_eyes:)

It’s still 100% reaper (triangle due to cape, big guns, etc. i know you man his head piece but it doesn’t change his triangle silhouette)

Someone already used Reaper and 76’s origins skins as an example, a much better one.

Scientist Moira looks about as good as any event skin has over the last couple of years. Gets an :ok_hand: from me!

Same. I mean, what did people think she was gonna look like? Nothing like the origin story thus making the skin non canon or then having a debate whether comic or game is canon?

That makes zero sense.

One issue I have is her hips though…way too big.

Now as far as being a legendary, they had too because the jacket is not a tight suit. Sure, it could boarderline an epic which is the debate but overall, it has more differences making them have to make her legendary.
