I asked to talk to dude's girlfriend

I overhear a conversation going on and so I ask to talk to his girlfriend, because, I’m lonely, so why not? And the dude gets really mad and threatens to throw the competive match.

So innapropriate if you ask me.

Tbh it’s someone random from the internet asking to talk to your girlfriend. I wouldn’t threaten to throw a match… I’d just feel awkward…

why didn’t you ask girl herself? She’s not his property (i know it’s a troll thread)

she was probably in the room and not the game.

Wait, I need some clarification. So his gf wasn’t playing Overwatch, she was just talking to him in the background and his mic was picking it up?

Either way, why would the guy get mad at some random dude on the internet playing Overwatch. This probably doesn’t need to be said, because I’m sure most of you dudes out there already know this, but girls don’t dig guys who are possessive; it screams insecurity.

That dude could have easily just muted you and moved on if it bothered him.

Right, she wasn’t playing overwatch she was just overheard on the mic. I always ask to talk to whoever’s mom, sister, or girlfriend is in the background, this is the first time I’ve gotten such a salty response.

What is happening to Overwatch?

lol well nothing is happening to Overwatch, but I personally wouldn’t want to hand the microphone over to my 60 year old mother. If I can spare her from the wilds of the internet and it’s trolls, I will do just that.

yeah, I’ve had people hand the headset over to pretty much anyone except their mom. Mom’s are off the table it seems.

What part of this (horribly worded) post is about Overwatch?

Everything , it’s about the people, the culture, and the people in the periphery.

I gave the microphone to my father for an entire game because he does a fantastic torb impression. He can sound just like him. Everyone on my team was rolling :joy:
