kiriko and mercy should not be getting nearly as many skins as they get nearly as frequently. i know that more popular heroes are probably going to receive more cosmetics cuz that brings in profit, and i don’t care omg this is ridiculous!
and i’m a pretty serious mercy main too. i’m tired of her getting skins back to back like spread them out at least there are some people who haven’t gotten good skins in months.

Well, the good news is this problem resolves itself. Let’s say you bite your hand off. You can only do that one more time until that won’t be an issue any more!
But yeah, characters like Venture not getting a skin (besides one that was purchasable for a week) until S14 is pretty ridiculous.
Mei is another one who hasn’t gotten a good skin in ages, along with multiple other heroes in favor of more popular ones. Most of us know blizzard wants to make money, but they should still try to put out skins for every characters and not just leave some without anything new for an embarrassing amount of time.

Especially after pink Mercy put the ow 2 sales in the top 10 on Steam it is a no-brainer.

for now. The Kiriko-Mercy-Rein market can only go so far. Even diehard fans will eventually get bored and blizzard will eventually learn the hard way why did they used to give attention to every single character and not a few.

lukewarm take. Most people are fed up with how skins are distributed. I’m a Kiriko stan and I am tired of seeing how much she gets. There will always be favorites in Hero based games who get some more cosmetics than others, but Blizzard takes it to the extreme.
You already answered this question above. She keeps getting them because people keep buying them because people want them. Money talks. If you don’t like them then don’t buy them. Blizzard is going to make skins for whatever sells and right now Kiriko sells.
I’m also frankly sick and tired of people complaining that other heroes get something. OMG stop it already! Advocate for what you want not against what others want. Tell us what heroes you DO want to get skins not which ones you DON’T for the love of everything holy.
